Non Surgical Butt Lift Melbourne

What is the non surgical butt lift

Butt lifts have rapidly become a very popular treatment all over the world. Unfortunately, there is still a significant amount of downtime associated with most types of butt-lifting procedures, such as BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift or fat transfer) and implants.

A non-invasive and minimal downtime way to achieve a perkier and tighter bum is having a non surgical butt lift. This consists of injecting biostimulating fillers on the buttocks, which will gradually help transform your butt, giving it more volume and shape and reducing any cellulite. Results are effective yet subtle, achieving a more natural-looking change than alternative procedure options, which many patients generally seem to prefer.

How does it work

Biostimulating fillers consist of substances that work by inducing the body to produce its own natural collagen and tissue growth. It takes time for the body to produce collagen, usually at least three to four weeks, so results are not immediate like hyaluronic acid fillers. Often, we need to do two to three treatment sessions about four weeks apart for optimal results. The further details of each treatment are personalised, tailored to meet the needs of each patient, so factors such as the amount of filler used during each treatment will be determined during a consultation prior to your first treatment.

Once your body produces more collagen and the tissue thickness increases, it will then give a more enhanced shape to your buttocks.

Suitable candidates for a non-surgical butt lift

A suitable candidate for a non surgical butt lift with buttock fillers is someone who desires to enhance the shape, size, and volume of their buttocks with a minimally invasive method. An ideal candidate should be in good overall health, have realistic expectations of the procedure, and be willing to follow post-procedure care instructions.

It is also important for candidates to have good skin elasticity, as the procedure involves injecting biostimulating fillers into the buttocks, which can cause stretching of the skin. Candidates with loose or sagging skin may not be suitable for this procedure.

Lastly, candidates should have a positive attitude towards the procedure and be prepared to discuss their medical history, including any medications or supplements they are taking, with one of our experienced team members to ensure that they are a suitable candidates and will respond well to the treatment.

During a consultation, your health history, treatment goals and expectations can be discussed to create a personalised treatment plan and to determine whether or not you are suitable for the treatment.

What to expect during the procedure

At Essence, we tailor our procedures to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual as much as we can, therefore our treatments are not performed with a one-size-fits-all approach. The details of your personalised procedure will be discussed during your consultation prior to treatment so that you will know what to expect.

The non surgical Brazilian butt lift procedure with buttock injections is very simple and painless. At the beginning of your procedure, one of our experienced team members will prepare the biostimulating fillers and place them in a number of syringes with added saline solution to minimise risks of lumps. The amount of filler that you will need can be determined during your consultation before the treatment, and each patient may need a different amount, depending on their goals.

First, the treatment area will be cleaned and marked. A small amount of local anaesthetic will then be applied in the areas where the injections will be administered. A cannula containing the mixture will then be inserted and the solution will be spread evenly around the specific treatment area.

There is minimal pain during and after the procedure. This is partially due to the addition of location anaesthetic to the injected mixture, but also due to the application of local anaesthetic prior to making the entry point. Another favourable factor of the procedure is that there is a large space for the fluid to be injected, causing little tissue distension, which is normally painful.

Following application, a hard tissue massage will be performed. This aims to spread the substance evenly and reduce the risks of nodule formation. This massage should be repeated by the patient multiple times a day for five to seven days.

Downtime and aftercare

Thanks to the minimally invasive nature of treatment with butt injections, you can expect to be in for minimal downtime following the procedure. Some swelling can be expected, as well as some mild bruising. When it comes to results, they aren’t immediate and can take about six to eight weeks.

As mentioned before, two to three treatments may be necessary to achieve best results
There will also be a process of swelling and inflammation which will mean that for the first week or two you may look slightly more swollen than usual, but that result does not last. To help the butt injections spread evenly and prevent the formation of nodules, you should massage the treated area multiple times a day for about five to seven days.

Results of biostimulating fillers generally last for around 15-18 months, but sometimes it can last for up to two years or more. Typically, multiple sessions give better results.

As well as massaging the treated area, aftercare for a non surgical butt lift with butt injections involves following some set instructions that can help to both see the best results and prevent complications. The exact directions may vary depending on the specific treatment used, but some general aftercare tips can include to:

  • Avoid sitting or lying directly on your buttocks for at least 24-48 hours after treatment to allow the filler to settle properly
  • Avoid strenuous exercise for at least 24-48 hours after treatment
  • Wear loose-fitting clothing that won’t compress the treated area for at least 24-48 hours after treatment
  • Avoid hot tubs, saunas, or other heat sources for at least 24-48 hours after treatment, as heat can increase swelling and inflammation
  • Apply ice packs to the treated area for 10-15 minutes at a time, several times a day, to help reduce swelling and discomfort
  • Avoid drinking alcohol or smoking for at least 24-48 hours after treatment, as these can interfere with the healing process
  • Follow up with your provider as recommended to monitor the progress of your results
